Arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José. After clearing customs, meet your private driver for a short transfer to your hotel. Evening at leisure.

Journey to Arenal via Poás & La Paz
After breakfast, travel through Costa Rica’s Central Valley to visit Poás Volcano and the La Paz Waterfall Gardens, including butterfly exhibits, bird sanctuaries, and lush rainforest trails. Lunch included. Continue north to La Fortuna and settle into Hotel Magic Mountain, followed by a group dinner.

Arenal Highlights & Hot Springs
Start with a 3-in-1 adventure: explore the Arenal Hanging Bridges, hike to the dramatic La Fortuna Waterfall, and enjoy a tortilla-making lunch with locals.
In the evening, soak in the EcoTermales Hot Springs, followed by dinner in a tranquil rainforest setting.

Caño Negro Wildlife Boat Trip
Head north toward the Nicaraguan border to explore the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge, a Ramsar-designated wetland of global importance.
Board a safari-style boat for a half-day float trip spotting monkeys, sloths, caimans, iguanas, turtles, and hundreds of bird species.
A local lunch completes the day before returning to Arenal.

We are here to train, certify, and get our new and returning dive and swim buddies in the water! To all of our new students, Welcome! To our returning divers, dive pros, and instructors, thank you for trusting us with your SCUBA, free diving, and swim journeys. After nearly 50 years, we still continue striving to be your one-stop shop to get you back in the water.

This was my best group dive trip so far and all of Dolphin Dive trips are fun. It was jus a little bit more special because of the sincerely friendly people that work at the resort. At the dive shop, as well as the wait staff. They go out of their way to relate and accommodate you. Even when not expected. And the dives with the Tiger sharks were amazing. The shark wranglers were so at ease with them. I will likely return for this trip, but not sure because there are so many other trips that I haven't done yet that look interesting.

Another great time was had by all. When a typhoon closed diving, a quick pivot was made to keep everyone entertained and engaged. Dive staff took extra care with the safety of all as the water had a bit of a surge and some interesting wavers. As always, the service was over the top with teh dive staff handling all the gear and cameras so you could walk hands free to the boats (with a one or two person escort if desired) to ensure our safety. Albert and his restaurant team made sure the food was fantastic and the service excellent, remembering the little things like how much ice you like in your water. Overall a great time and we appreciate it. Highly recommend this resort, even if you are not much scuba diving!

We had an amazing time and we were blown away by the Atlantis Resort staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Absolutely the best resort I’ve been to. Great people, great food, great diving.
