The all-new, 124-foot Cocos Island Aggressor will cruise from Puntarenas, Costa Rica to Cocos Island, a remote, uninhabited Pacific island whose waters are world-renown for schooling hammerhead sharks, manta rays and whale sharks. The 22-passenger, four-level luxury dive yacht was designed from the keel up with passengers’ comfort, safety and indulgences in mind.
Onboard amenities include a sun deck with hot tub, two guests lounges, restaurant with chef-prepared meals, spacious dive deck and a computer station for editing underwater photos and videos. Eleven spacious staterooms feature private baths and individual climate controls. Throughout the ten-night adventure, guests receive five-star service from eight professional, experienced staff members, many of whom have been with Okeanos Aggressor I & II® for decades.
The Cocos Island Aggressor depart from Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Boarding and departure depends on the tide schedule. Immediately after boarding for our Costa Rica liveaboard scuba diving adventure, the yacht departs for its 36-hour crossing to Cocos Island.

Cocos Islands adventures include an average of 21 thrilling dives in the nutrient rich waters surrounding the lush island. Swift currents and underwater sea mounts attract massive schools of fish which may include Giant Marble Rays, Tuna, Whitetip Sharks, Galapagos Sharks and Hammerhead Sharks. When conditions allow, the staff shuttles guests to the island for hiking and swimming in the pools of Cocos’ many majestic waterfalls. After the charter’s final dive, the Cocos Island Aggressor is escorted by Dolphin and False Killer Whales for the 342-mile voyage back to Puntarenas.
Cocos Island
Cocos Island National Park was designated a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1997. Weather permitting, all guests are shuttled ashore to hike through the jungles of Cocos and swim in her many waterfalls. All ten-day trips offer seven days of Costa Rica liveaboard scuba diving. Average dives per charter: 21 on 10 night; No night diving is currently offered at Cocos Island.
Cocos Island Aggressor are each equipped with two 8' x 22' tenders. All dives from tenders.
Cocos Top Dive Sites
Alcyone
A 600’ long submerged mountain, the top of the mountain is 75’ from the surface. Schooling Hammerheads, Mantas and other various schooling fish. Possible Sailfish or Marlin.
Big Dos Amigos
This islet features a 45-foot-high arch and 60-foot pinnacle off the southeast side. Look for Rainbow Runners, Yellowtail Snapper, Bigeye Jacks and Lobster. Hammerheads swim between the pinnacle and arch.
Bird Island, Chatham Bay
Dove from Chatham Bay, southeast of Manuelita, this site provides a variety of marine life including Frog Fish, Lobsters, Morays, Rays, Whitetip Sharks and Hammerheads. There is even a cleaning station.
Dirty Rock
A large island with schools of Marble Rays and Hammerheads.
Lone Stone
Schooling Marble Rays and Mobula Rays.
Manuelita
The northeast corner has a sheer wall. Lots of Whitetips, Marble Rays and schools of Creoles.
Special Sightings
Whale Sharks, mating Eagle Rays, Sailfish, mating Whitetip Sharks, False Killer Whales.
Ubing Rock, Wafer Bay
This 300’ rock begins at 20’ and drops to a 110’ sandy bottom. The southeast slope attracts schooling Hammerheads.

Guests are to arrive the day before the charter start date and overnight in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Guests will be met by a representative in uniform at the Park Inn by Radisson San Jose on the day of departure at a pre-set time for the group transfer. The pick-up and boarding time schedule is at the Park Inn by Radisson at 9:30 am; Puntarenas Departure 12:30 pm Boarding depends on the tide schedule. Immediately after boarding the yacht departs for its crossing to Cocos Island to prepare for diving. After a full seven days of diving, the yachts return back to the dock in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Check-out is at 7:00 am. Transportation from the yacht at the end of the charter is provided back to the San Jose (SJO) airport or the host hotel. Departing flights should be scheduled after 12:30 p.m.

The bus picks up at the host hotel in San Jose for transfer to Puntarenas to meet the Cocos Island Aggressor. On the first day of the charter a bus will pick passengers up at the Park Inn by Radisson San Jose and travel approximately 1 1/2 hours to meet the yachts. If you are not staying at the host hotel, you will need to make your
own way there prior to the pick-up times. At the end of the charter, transportation will be provided back to the host hotel and the San Jose Airport.
