We will travel to Cai Be, which is the heart of the Mekong Delta and where the river divides into multiple canals and arroyos.  On arrival, we will visit a craftsmen's village, where there's also a workshop producing coconut candies, rice popcorns and Vietnamese nougats. The rest of the morning will be dedicated to visiting a small market.

In the afternoon, return on board to visit a factory where clay is used to make pottery and tiles. We will then transfer to the landing stage and head towards Can Tho.

Take a boat trip early in the morning to discover the Cai Rang Floating Market, the biggest and busiest floating market in Mekong Delta. This is the best time to visit the market as it is crowded with hundreds of sampans that offer fruits, vegetables, plants, food and numerous types of goods for trade. In the afternoon, guests will enjoy an Introductory Class to Vietnamese Cooking. Lunch will be at the same location as the cooking class or at a local family’s house.  Return to Saigon to spend the night.

After breakfast visit the Notre Dame Cathedral and the General Post Office. From the cathedral, take a short stroll along Dong Khoi Street to the Opera House. Next, stop at The Reunification Palace, formerly known as Presidential Palace, which was the residence of the president of South Vietnam until the end of April 1975.  Next, stop at Ben Thanh market for a variety of products on sale. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

You then drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, situated 70km from Saigon. The Cu Chi Tunnel system was created around 1948 to assist the Viet Minh in their combat against French occupiers. Construction and enlargement continued during American bombings and they were turned into an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapon factories and field hospitals. The Cu Chi Tunnels could house up to 10,000 people who lived underground for years, getting married and raising children. During the Vietnam-American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated as a fire-free zone yet was heavily bombarded. Since 1988, two sections of the tunnels are open for visitors to crawl through and better understand the war.

A visit to the Royal Grand Palace, the nation’s landmark and most praised royal monument in Thailand, with the enclosed and dazzling Wat Phra Kaew is a must. Wat Phra Kaew, also called the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is well known for its Golden Chedi, its Pantheon of the Chakri Kings and its Eight Coloured Tower. In Thailand, it is considered by many to be a living example of a classical Siamese Court, being the former residence of the kings of Thailand. Wat Pho is regarded as the first centre of public education and is sometimes called ‘Thailand’s first university’. Mural paintings, inscriptions, and statues found in the temple educated people on various subjects such as literature, warfare, archaeology, astronomy, geology, meditation and is considered to be home of Thai traditional massages. Here, you will enjoy a 30-minute Thai massage as an excellent break after a morning sightseeing. Experience an afternoon trip along the bustling Chao Phya River and the quiet Klong (canals) in a long tail boat, in which you can enjoy scenes of Bangkok life. We will bring you to a more traditional and serene way of living around Thonburi residential areas, away from all the skyscrapers and modern buildings of Bangkok City Centre. We will also stop by the “Temple of Dawn” (officially named Wat Arun). 

Finally, a visit to the Flower and Vegetable market will round off this day. Located close to the Chao Phraya River, the place pictures a rural piece of Bangkok where a vast selection of all kinds of flowers, especially orchids and tropical flowers, can be found. Also, observe how the merchants create very special flower garlands. This Bangkok day tour ends at the Golden Mountain.

Note : Please note that photography is permitted in the Royal Palace Grounds and in the compounds of the Emerald Buddha Temple, but not inside the buildings. Also, note that the chapel is a national shrine and that you will be required to wear proper attire (no bare shoulders, knees or strapless-heel shoes). Shoes must be removed before entering the temple buildings as a matter of respect.

Be mindful: The Palace may be closed without prior notice during Royal ceremonies and officials/head of state visits. The inner courts of the Grand Palace are frequently closed on Sundays; we do recommend not to book this excursion on Sundays to avoid disappointment.

Visit the former capital of Thailand, Ayutthaya, situated approximately 75 kilometers north of Bangkok and which is one of those destinations you have to see. The mix of cultures in Ayutthaya began in the mid-16th century when ships from Ayutthaya plied the Asian seas, trading with neighboring countries. When the Dutch showed up in the 17th century, Ayutthaya became a port city and trade routes were extended to China, Japan, Indonesia, Portugal, Holland and France and even up to the Scandinavian countries later. Although the ancient villages of foreign traders lining  the Chao Phraya river banks were abandoned when the city was sacked by Burmese troops in 1767, some remnants have survived and now showcase the city’s past glory. 

The tour will start at the Summer Palace of the late King Rama V, commonly known as “Bang Pa- In”. You will then continue to the magnificent ruins of early splendor that Ayutthaya is famous for all over the world. We will pass or visit all the most impressive ruins of this World Heritage Site. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Ayutthaya. We will eventually return to Bangkok by coach.

Leave the busy streets of Bangkok behind and make the journey to Khao Yai National Park with this full-day tour. As one of Thailand's oldest and beloved national parks, Khao Yai is a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. A vast landscape, this UNESCO World Heritage Site offers mountainous views and provides the chance to encounter native wildlife up close. See the abundant native wildlife and nature at Khao Yai National Park Walk the trekking trails in the park and see different species of birds Stop at the scenic Hawe Suwat Waterfall and take some Insta-worthy photos Climb the hillside viewpoint at the waterfall for an amazing view. Khao Yai National Park Khao Yai, with its rich flora and fauna, is the perfect destinations for nature lovers. There are many animals inhabiting the national park including elephants, tigers, monkeys, bears, deer and squirrels. There are also various types of snakes like pythons, spiders, rodents and insects, so it is best advised to wear long sleeved clothing. In addition, the park has more than 400 species of birds. We take one of the trekking trails in the park and walk through the nature while enjoying the beautiful mountainous landscape. Khao Yai National Park is one of the best places in Thailand to see Asian elephants in the wild and many visitors come to catch a glimpse of the park's wild elephant population, grazing in their natural habitat. Keep in mind, however, that it cannot be guaranteed that you will see wild elephants in the park during your day trip. The duration includes travelling time between Bangkok and Khao Yai. 

Haew Suwat Waterfall: There are several waterfalls throughout the national park offering incredible scenery and photo opportunities. The most well-known waterfall in Khao Yai National Park is Haew Suwat. It is famous for being the location for Leonardo DiCaprio's waterfall dive in the movie ‘The Beach’ back in 2000. Haew Narok Waterfall is the highest falls in Khao Yai National Park, and the park’s star attraction, cascading over three tiers with the final level gushing 80 metres below into a deep pool. However, only the first level is open to the public, as the other levels are steep and dangerous. There’s a hillside viewpoint where you can clearly watch and take photos of the waterfall. Especially at the height of the rainy season, the Haew Narok Waterfall is a truly breathtaking sight.
