Arrival in Belize / Transfer to Turneffe Atoll
Guests must arrive into Belize City (BZE) no later than 1:30 PM.
Resort representatives will meet the group at the airport for transfer to the marina.
The scenic water transfer to Turneffe Atoll departs at 3:00 PM.
Upon arrival, guests will check into their oceanfront accommodations and attend a welcome orientation.
Dinner is served at the resort, followed by a relaxed evening to settle in.

Diving & Lionfish Week
Daily flow below represents a typical day. Specific timing may adjust for excursion dives, derby day, or classroom sessions.
Morning
Breakfast is served at the open-air dining area.
Boats depart around 8:30 AM for the first dive.
The second dive typically begins around 10:30 AM.
Mid-Day
Guests return to the resort for buffet lunch.
This is a relaxed interval for hammocks, pool time, reading, or use of complimentary kayaks and paddleboards.
Lionfish classroom sessions or science presentations may be scheduled during select mid-day periods.
Afternoon
The third dive or snorkeling excursion departs around 2:00 PM.
Certain afternoons may feature guided lionfish hunting dives or derby activities.
Evening
Happy hour with appetizers is served in the overwater palapa bar.
Dinner follows in the main dining area.
Evenings are relaxed, with most guests retiring early after full dive days.

I cannot speak highly enough of the entire Dolphin team! This was our first trip with Dolphin and definitely not our last. The entire trip was thoughtfully organized, communication was on point, safety was a priority, and so much more. The pre-trip meeting was not only informative but included a printed packet for each diver. This included all information for the trip (resort, dive boat, flight, etc. all printed for you,) and gathered all forms to provide to the dive company and resort prior to our check in - making the check in time shorter. During the trip the team made sure to keep everyone updated as to harbor conditions, boat and dive guide changes, gear repair information and a check in day meeting to give pertinent information. As the trip came to a conclusion the fight and airport shuttle times, check out instructions were handled and communicated. We had such a fabulous trip!

This was my best group dive trip so far and all of Dolphin Dive trips are fun. It was jus a little bit more special because of the sincerely friendly people that work at the resort. At the dive shop, as well as the wait staff. They go out of their way to relate and accommodate you. Even when not expected. And the dives with the Tiger sharks were amazing. The shark wranglers were so at ease with them. I will likely return for this trip, but not sure because there are so many other trips that I haven't done yet that look interesting.

Another great time was had by all. When a typhoon closed diving, a quick pivot was made to keep everyone entertained and engaged. Dive staff took extra care with the safety of all as the water had a bit of a surge and some interesting wavers. As always, the service was over the top with teh dive staff handling all the gear and cameras so you could walk hands free to the boats (with a one or two person escort if desired) to ensure our safety. Albert and his restaurant team made sure the food was fantastic and the service excellent, remembering the little things like how much ice you like in your water. Overall a great time and we appreciate it. Highly recommend this resort, even if you are not much scuba diving!
